Overview
When renting from Motion Rental, you can choose optional extras to suit your needs and budget.
These extras provide:
-
Added safety
-
More flexibility
-
Lower financial risk in case of an incident
You pay for each extra weekly, on top of your standard rental charges, and see them listed as separate lines on your invoice. All extras must be selected at sign-up or before your rental begins.
Optional safety and convenience extras (weekly charges)
These extras help with day-to-day riding and security. The following extras are charged weekly:
Security Lock — $1 per week
Reduces the risk of theft when parking your scooter.
Extra Helmet — $5 per week
Suitable if you ride with a passenger or need a spare helmet.
Insurance excess reduction options
All rentals include a standard insurance excess of $1,500.
You can reduce this excess by paying an additional weekly fee.
Available options:
-
Reduce excess from $1,500 to $1,250 — $5 per week
-
Reduce excess from $1,500 to $1,000 — $10 per week
-
Reduce excess from $1,500 to $750 — $15 per week
-
Reduce excess from $1,500 to $500 — $25 per week
Reducing your excess lowers the amount you may need to pay if an incident occurs, subject to your insurance terms.
