We keep our insurance simple and transparent so you know exactly where you stand.
What is covered
Our Comprehensive Insurance covers:
-
Accidental damage
-
Third-party property damage
-
Theft
-
Total loss (subject to policy terms)
This cover applies whether you are using the scooter for personal transport or approved food delivery services.
Insurance excess
All rentals include a standard insurance excess of $1,500.
The excess is the maximum amount you would be required to pay if there is an accident, theft, or total loss of the vehicle (subject to the rental agreement and policy terms).
Optional insurance excess reduction
If you prefer lower financial risk, you can choose our optional Insurance Excess Reduction.
This reduces the amount you would need to pay in the event of an approved claim.
The reduced excess amount and weekly fee will be clearly shown on your invoice.

Important notes
-
The rental agreement always displays the standard $1,500 excess.
-
If you select Excess Reduction, your invoice confirms the reduced amount that applies to you.
