  • The bank account belongs to you

  • Your name matches your subscription

  • Your account is active

In most cases, it also shows your residential address.

One document can meet multiple verification requirements, which speeds up approval.

Why we ask for a Proof of Balance document

Proof of address verification

Proof of Balance documents usually display:

  • Your full name

  • Your residential address

  • Your bank details

This allows us to confirm your contact details match your subscription.

Proof of bank account ownership

All subscription payments are processed via direct debit.

We must confirm the bank account:

  • Is registered under your name

  • Matches the account used for your subscription

Simplified verification

A Proof of Balance document can cover:

  • Proof of address

  • Proof of bank account ownership

Fewer documents means faster verification.

How to download Proof of Balance from major Australian banks

Important

Screenshots are not accepted. You must download the official PDF document from your bank.

Internet banking

Log in to NetBank

Log in to your NetBank account with your customer number and password.

Open account information

Go to View accounts and select Account information.

Select the correct account

Choose the bank account you use for your subscription payments.

Open Balance confirmation

Select Balance confirmation for that account.

Save as PDF

Save or download the Balance confirmation as a PDF file to your device.

Mobile app

Log in to the CommBank app

Open the CommBank app and log in.

Open your account

Tap Accounts and select the account you use for your subscription.

Go to Proof of balance

Tap Manage, then Statements and more, then Proof of balance.

Save as PDF

Tap the Share icon and save the document as a PDF.
